September 3-Way

Posted in General by james-seaeagle on the October 18th, 2008

Last month we saw Narrabeen win the 3-way competition again with the Law family weighing-in 20 kingfish. We took out second place and had several members take the podium with some smart fishing outside, in the estuary & a heap of ludrick taken from Pittwater.

Justin Appleby took out deep sea in our internal competition with Ferry Hudijuno & Daniel Elliott second & third.

Mick Campell led the estuary with Chris Stokes & Andrew Wiseman second & third.

Paul Sinclair took out the Rock & Beach with Tim Jackett & James Lloyd second & third.

Ella Yendle won the Ladies, L James took out the Junior over Ella Yendle.

Sikaflex II bested Squidlips & Apples tied second with Ferriman third.

Overall the open division after the 3-way is being led by Mick Campbell who has been on fire with Justin Appleby right behind with two high scores so far. Andy Wiseman, Steve Pollock & Daniel Elliott are sitting nice & close.

Dan Elliott has his nose in front of Steve Pollock who has his nose in front of Justin Appleby in the Deep Sea.

In the Ladies Lisa Spinks & Ella Yendle are leading from Elarna Spinks & Kylie Elliott.

Elarna Spinks, Peter James & L James are tying first in the juniors with Matt Squire & Ella Yendle tying second.

Land Based sees Ian Squire comfortably in front of David Lee & Paul Sinclair, with Tim Jackett third.

Mick Campbell has got Chris Stokes covered by a point who has a few on Andrew Wiseman.

21st December is the Xmas party weigh-in with great food & great prizes to be drawn for financial members i.e. could all those who may have forgotten to rejoin do so asap.

There has been talk by several members concerning joining the Movember fundraiser for prostate cancer. It is a good cause but it will take a little organization & people will have to log onto a web site & raise money etc. Does anyone want to join in & does anyone want to organize it?

Good luck to all those club members who are representing the club at Nelson’s Bay in early November.
