FADS
The Botany Bay Wide FAD has been deployed at it’s usual location:
33 °59.672′ S, 151 °26.743′ E
Given the strong current at the moment, be sure to keep a look out for it up to 200 m from the mark.
We have received a report that the Sydney Harbour FAD may be missing. Again, it may have been pulled under by the strong current around at the moment, however we will be investigating as soon as possible.
Regards,
DPI FADs Team

REPORTS
The word all week has been “kingies” and big ones in Pittwater up to 80cm taking small silver lures. Longnose and Stokes Points have been the pick of the spots. A couple of reports of big kingies around Lion Island and East West Reef has been going off all week.
There has been a big run of prawns in the Hawkesbury this week so for those of you after the elusive Jewie this could be your weekend. Greg Joyes from Calmwater Fishing landed two 19kg fish and both the bridges have plenty of soapies.
The beaches are fired up, so with conditions deteriorating tonight they might be the go. Jewies and Salmon off South Newport and Narrabeen on the run in tide and big bream off Palm Beach and Little Narrabeen.
The run of snapper continues with Newport Reef and Long Reef the pick, however the Leather Jackets are still in near plague proportions.
Remember that the weather is coming in tonight and there are strong wind warnings for both Saturday and Sunday.
Good luck and see you at the weigh in.
Megsie
