REPORTS
With the water temperature around 25 degrees in Pittwater the weekend should see some great fishing.
Kingies have been caught this week at Longnose Point, Stokes Point, Scotland Island, and around the moorings in front of the Royal Motor Yacht Club. Plenty of bream to be found off the reed beds at Palm Beach.
Whiting, salmon and bream off all the beaches with Palm Beach and Narrabeen the pick.
I have not heard any news about the leatherjacket plague off Long Reef so hopefully they are gone and the snapper will return. Grant Watson from Raymarine caught 14 striped tuna off Long Reef last Saturday on small silver lures.
The Hawkesbury has been very quiet this week with the only catches worth noting around the rail bridges, some big bream caught on nippers and Hawkesbury prawns.
Not a lot to report this week so good luck and I will see you at the weigh in.
